IFP AR-FP PLATINUM 3/3C6 (Alcohol-resistant Fluoroprotein) combines the flame retardant efficiency of conventional FP for rapid extinguishing and resistance to flashback, both in fires caused by hydrocarbons and fuels with polar solvents. IFP AR-FP PLATINUM 3/3C6 concentrate is produced from hydrolyzed protein concentrate, a special type of fluorinated surfactant, in combination with biopolymer, stabilizer and preservatives, making it suitable for the protection of high-risk areas. It is a multi-purpose foaming liquid, useful for both hydrocarbon fires and fuels with polar solvents. It contains natural proteins and does not contain harmful synthetic detergents. When mixed with water and discharged by suitable discharge devices, it forms a fluid and stable foam that quickly covers the burning fuel, which accelerates extinguishing and ensures excellent flame recoil performance. The foam is highly resistant to fuel absorption, thus creating a very stable foam layer on the surface of the fuel.
