fluorochemical foam concentrate, commonly known as AQUEOUS FILM-FORMING FOAM CONCENTRATE (AFFF), which represents a major advancement in foam technology for the effective extinguishing of Class A and B fires, as low and medium expansion foam.<\/p><p>IFP UNILIGHT AFFF TYPE 6C6 is a unique combination of fluorochemical and hydrocarbon surfactant, along with solvents, stabilizers and preservatives, to deliver superior performance in extinguishing fires of all types of hydrocarbons. The aqueous film formed spreads rapidly over the surface of the fuel, providing very fast control and extinguishing. Its inherent self-sealing property seals out any disturbed surface of the burning liquid, a great advantage for quick rescue.
